Three-Fold Mission

The Foundation is responsible for the safeguarding of humanity through the containment of anomalous entities or phenomena. The Foundation operates not by the bounds of one nation but operates on the trust of many to ensure that its mission is upheld. The SCP Foundation has a three-pronged, multi-faceted objective: Securing, Containing, and Protecting.

Secure

The Foundation secures anomalous entities to ensure they are kept away from the hands of civilians or adversaries. The Foundation, through careful inspection and intelligence, acts quickly to intercept anomalous phenomena to prevent the disruption of normalcy.

Contain

The Foundation contains anomalous entities and phenomena to ensure that their effects do not spread, ensuring that the normalcy of humanity is not altered. The Foundation contains anomalies through extensive efforts such as concealment, relocation, dismantling, and misinformation.

Protect

The Foundation protects humanity from anomalies, alongside protecting the anomalies themselves. Some anomalies may be destroyed as a last resort if they are deemed too dangerous to be properly contained.
